Hahahaha…rayek, I love the responses that I get from people who aren’t familiar with Dreamcast when they first hear the thing. It usually comes as, “Wow, that thing is loud!” Gotta love Dreamcast. It just has so much personality. It generally just makes me smile when I hear Dreamcast’s loud loading sound.

Oddly, my new roommate almost immediately brought up two of the most common Dreamcast complaints. First, he commented about just how loud it was, then he started to complain about how the controller cord was on the bottom of the controller.

Still, he’s taken to Dreamcast quite well. It’s easily sees more play time than any other console in our apartment. He really likes Ikaruga, in fact.

I… don’t think there are any. New games being developed for the Naomi board are all shooters/arcade games, so they’re the most likely to be ported to the DC. Otherwise, I’m not sure.

For sure, though, 2007 is going to be a good one for the Dreamcast… Better than 2006. I sincerely hope this isn’t the DC’s death throes, I love my noisy Sega box.

By the way, would you happen to know of any other forthcoming DC game besides shooters?
