San Francisco Chronicle Recommends Dreamcast For Christmas

While this isn’t anything earth-shattering, I found this way too amusing to pass up sharing. One of the biggest newspapers in the US, the San Francisco Chronicle ran a story recently that suggests that Christmas shoppers give retro game consoles as Christmas presents as an alternative to the pricey new-gen consoles. Number one on The Chronicle’s list is our beloved Sega Dreamcast.

Peter Hartlaub writes,

In the article, Mr. Hartlaub gives some very good recommendations based on different price ranges/scenarios while giving solid advice that your everyday non-gamer parent could understand. It’s wonderful to read an article like this in a mainstream publication (especially a newspaper) and I hope some people take up his suggestions.

Quite an interesting find there Racketboy, and I must say it really is quite the bargain. Dreamcast + 10 top games + controllers + stuff < $ than a Wii…
