Even More Virtual Console Games for the Wii!
Just when you were getting over the fact that the original list of games for the Wii’s Virtual Console was lackluster, the ESRB has leaked some additional titles of games that will be available on the Wii very soon. (And this time, the list is very impressive!)
Here Wii go…
NES
- Duck Hunt
- Hogan’s Alley
- Kid Icarus
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Pro Wrestling
- Punch-Out
- Wild Gunman
- Excitebike
- Ice Climber
- Dr. Mario
- Mario Brothers
- Ice Hockey
SNES:
- Pilot Wings
- Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Star
- Kirby’s Super Star
- Super Metroid
- Kirby’s Dream Land 3
N64:
- Mario Kart 64
- Starfox 64
- The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time
It’s pretty obvious that these additions will help round out the selection, but still leaves plenty of room for more exciting releases in the future.

I knew super metroid was coming, of course it was, how could it not.. Still puts a big smile on my face seing it there though
I’m glad that they added OOT and Super Metroid. If they add MM, I’ll be really happy!
Oooh, Mario RPG.
Does anyone else get a feeling that the prices on carts might drop a little once the Wii VC catches on? Lower rate of demand and all…you won’t have as many people who just want to play Mario RPG dropping $50 on a cartridge on eBay. I’m a collector and would rather have the actual cartridge, but i don’t have $50 a pop to throw out for one. Probably TG16 games wouldn’t come down at all, since no one who isn’t a collector really buys them anyway.
