Ben Heck’s New Portable Atari Jaguar

Not content with the bazillions of other consoles he has portable-ized, Ben Heckendorn has recently produced a portable Atari Jaguar.

As always, Ben demonstrates his graphical design skills in addition to his technical prowess by capturing the themes of the original Jaguar console. The unit maintains the look and feel of the Jaguar controller (even if it was one of the most hideous controllers ever) and sports a nice logo and set of Jaguar eyes to complete the package.

I can’t think of a lot of Jaguar games that I’d like to play on the go, but a little Aliens vs Predator would be sweet on a portable LCD.

    OK THAT’S NUTS!!!

  2. Ben Heck is phenomenal. Normally i’d cry to see something as uncommon as a Jaguar cut to pieces, but to have been given new life by Heck is an honor. What he does with soldering iron and some ingenuity (CNC and other fancy equipment aside) amazes me every time.
