Joystiq attended the recent PAX convention and apparently the new game from The Behemoth (the masterminds behind Alien Hominid), Castle Crashers was the big hit of the show.

Many of the attendees stated that the game was good enough to warrent the purchase of an XBox 360 on it’s own. It looks to be the best multiplayer beatemup experience since 6-Player X-Men arcade and Guardian Heroes.

To get a better feel for the game, here are some new video clips to check out that showcase a handful of minutes of full-blown gameplay.
