Tecmo Joining Wii Virtual Console Team
The stakes keep getting raised in the upcoming battle between the XBox Live Arcade and the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console.
Tecmo, one of the biggest third-party developers behind the NES, just announced that they will be publishing a number of their classic games on the Virtual Console.
This is welcome news to many NES fans that have been awaiting a re-release of Tecmo Bowl (online mulitplayer, maybe?)
TecmoBowl isn’t the only gem that may be included. You may be able to look forward to the original Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Rygar, Solomon’s Key and maybe even Tecmo World Cup.

I wonder if we’ll have access to updated rosters. Or any real rosters. That’d be nice to see.
