For those of you with a copy of Windows Media Center Edition, there is a plugin that allows you to run MAME and other arcade emulators via the Media Center interface.

I believe these type of products are essential to get an emulation experience that is more enjoyable for mainstream gamers. Of course, this is still behind the interface of a modded XBox, but any tools for any platforms is appreciated.

Personally, I’m eager to see if similar plugins will be possible with Apple’s new Front Row software — a product that I have been priviledged to play around with and have been thouroughly impressed with.
