There is a buzz on the Net now that an obscure, new VS fighter is coming to the PS2.
Spectral vs. Generation is a vs. fighting game where the 10 most popular characters from Idea Factory’s RPG games, Spectral Souls and Generation of Chaos, collide. You read that correctly — a VS. fighter that has neither Marvel, Capcom nor SNK characters in it.

The Idea Factory crossover fighter being developed by IGS. There’s an official site, and some extra images over at Game Watch. From what I have seen, the game has an art and battle style very similar to Sega Sammy’s Guilty Gear series. Not sure if the sprites and such will be of as high of quality, but it is looking nice. I’m definately looking forward to seeing more of this fighting title.
