Capcom is making a neat little addon to the Playstation Portable to complement its release of Street Fighter Zero 3 Double Upper/Alpha 3 Max.

Japanese gamers that pre-order the game will be able to purchase a PSP D-pad cover, to make portable 2D fighting that much easier. (Vampire Chronicles is another fighting package on the PSP)

Unfortunatly, they can’t do much about a 6-button layout, but any improvement helps. For me, 2D Fighters are one genre that is especially dependant on the controller. I haven’t bought any fighters for the GBA for this reason. Good effort on Capcom’s part.
