Drill – Demo of New Dreamcast Shmup
The Dreamcast trickle of Japanese retail shooters seems to have come to an end, but there is still some hope for shooter fans. Drill is a doujin shooter for Sega’s Little White Box that I mentioned early in the summer. The game has been produced by people behind the popular french site www.shmup.com and, after two years of development, a public demo has been finally been released. Just burn it to a CD and play! (Dreamcast can play burned CDs with no modifications)
I ran out of CD-Rs today, so I’ll have to pick up another spindle before I get to actually try this thing. If anybody else tries it, feel free to post a review in the comments section!
