Taito announced they will release the classic compilation Taito Memories Vol. 1 for PS2 in Japan on July 28, for 5040 yen. The compilation includes the following 25 classic titles:

Lots of interesting gems on there from various vintages.
Shame that Rainbow Islands, Chase H.Q and more Puzzle Bobble (Bust-A-Move) games are missing.

This will probably be a Jap release only since most of these titles were released by Tatio Corperation, rather then Taito America. Also, a good chunk of these games didn’t even make it to the US the first time around.

So this might be a good candidate to import if you feel a craving for these games.
