New Sega Saturn Region Patcher

Madroms at Saturn Torrents has developed a new Saturn Region changer in his spare time. It supposedly makes up for many of the limitations of SatConv and provides a better interface.

I’ve used it many times with no problem yet.
Its great being able to patch ISO files in addition to BIN/CUE.
(The old ones only did BIN/CUE)

Anybody know a way to change the peripheral country code?

  5. No, but I don’t think it matters.
Just because a game says it has a Japanese peripheral code, doesn’t mean you can’t use US controllers.

Do discs 2, 3 and 4 of Panzer Dragoon Saga need to be region patched?

When I try to open their disc images in SRP I get this:
“This image cannot be patched. You don’t have a valid sector 1.”

  7. sounds like your disc image is corrupted then…

Yep, they seem to be. I just had the same problem with a Shining Force III disc image. Oh well…

bingo, that did it. one last question. i’m pretty new to the torrent thing. after weeding through all the crap googling i finally figured out all the different formats dreamcast torrents come in and how to deal with them all. i’m trying to learn the saturn next and although you have good intructions on your forum i haven’t come across burning a download that’s an image file yet. is it basically like a cdi file that’s all prepped by the publisher ready for burning immediately? no having to deal with mp3/wav., bin/cue and all that? thanks for your help.

  11. Thank You

    Hi there! I’m desperate!
I’ve downloaded that SatHeader thing and started converting but when I turned my PC on the next day, it wouldn’t open any more! It became invisible, so I need another region converter.
Ijust can’t open this link. Please, e-mail me with the proper link to download or show me another one.

Thank you guys very much in advance!!

It became invisible? did you change the opacity to 0%? try uninstall/reinstalling it, also “http://madroms.free.fr/SRP2.1a.rar” is the link.

    hope it helps!

hey there, i have a question related with saturn region codes. i realized, that some games have the option to select 2 or even 3 region codes at one time. for example “christmas nights” is able to contain 3 region codes. i wondered if the is an opportunity to patch other games in that way that they have several regions. does someone know on what this depends whether i can select one or more regions? is would be nice to make every game multiregion for playing on US,JAP or EUR saturns…
