Kinect Joy Ride (360) - $1.25AUD / $0.84USD via eBay
Just another cheap and cheerful Kinect game that my 4year old son can have a crack at, get frustrate with and never play again. Parenting is a dream.

Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 (PS2) - $6.00AUD / $4.02USD via eBay
I have always been a fan of the THPS games and other games like it. I played the first Mat Hoffman back in the day and I remember thinking it was just a clunkier version, however I picked up a copy last year and enjoyed my time with it, so I saw the sequel going cheap and have to pick it up.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (PC) - $1AUD / $0.67USD via eBay
I have been slowly picking up all the differant builds of the THPS games, I did a dummy $1 bid with free delivery and won.

Tomb Raider Underworld (360) - $2.25AUD / $1.51USD via eBay

Godfall - IGNORE THIS, GOT IT FOR A FRIEND

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex Edition (Wii) - $1.25AUD / 0.84USD via eBay

Tekken 7 (PS4) - $4.00AUD / $2.68USD via Thrift Store
I had a really dry spell before and after this find, where I did not find anything in the wild for like 2 or 3 months, despite going 5 or 6 times a week. It happens.

Final Fantasy XVI (PS5) - $77.99AUD / $52.23USD via Amazon
I don't really Pre-order, but I was really keen to get into FF16. The fact I got this on day 1, should show you how long it takes me to post pickups here. While it doesnt play like a FF game, the story, characters, etc. All feels very Final Fantasy, I found the game far more enjoyable once I realised playing with the 'rings' is pretty much easy mode, where it is really hard to take a hit, after that I found the step up in diffuclty really enjoyable, so if you are thinking of playing it, that would be my suggestion. From start to finish, I really enjoyed it, but I place it behind 15 myself, even though so many people did not enjoy 15, it still had that 'goofy' feel so many FF games have and 16 really too itself seriously.

Enter The Matrix (PS2) - $1.3AUD / $0.87USD via eBay

Lego Star Wars - The Skywalker Saga (Xbox One / Series) - $9.00AUD / $6.03USD via EB Games
A friend of mine gave me the heads up when he was at EB that these were on a managers special for $9 and picked one up for me. I have not had a chance to play it yet.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5HD + 2.5HD ReMix (PS4) - $17.95AUD / $12.02USD via eBay
I had played through all the games in the series (other than the mobile phone games) other than Chain of Memories, I already own both 1.5HD and 2.5HD on the PS3, but I felt the PS4 version might just encourage me to play through CoM. So I finished, while still easily the weakest in the series, I am still glad I finished it just to feel I have completed them all.

Mortal Kombat (Vita) - $FREE AUD / USD via Friend
I modded a friends Vita for him (which is the easiest system to mod), he had the cart in the slot, when I returned it he said keep it. Don't mind if I do.

More and more of my pickups are from eBay, finding stuff in the wild is increasingly hard, finding stuff that is not priced as "a vintage collectors item" is even harder. They still pop up, so I keep on it, if only for the thrill of the hunt.

I added Fortune Street for the Nintendo Wii this Morning!

I was at my local retro gaming store recently doing some trade ins when I saw they had a copy of Fortune Street. For me, this was one of the most prominent Wii titles during its time. I found out about the game because it was played many times on the Backloggery streams. I then gifted the game to a friend of mine and he played the hell out of the game. We then introduced the game to another friend of ours who loved it and bought it for himself. I guess it is finally time for me to own a copy for myself. I love board games and this is an amazing simulation of a board game turned into a video game. It's like a better version of Monopoly. If this piques your interest at all, I would highly recommend picking up a copy for yourself.

Plus, it has Mario and Dragon Quest characters in it as well!

It's part of the Itadaki Street franchise, though this and an iOS Fortune Street game are the only ones to get brought over to the US, except for a couple of unfinished fan-translations of the first game on the Famicom and fan-translations of Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Special for the PS2 and Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Portable for the PSP. Though the remakes of Dragon Quest III for Super Famicom and GBC do feature Itadaki Street-esque board games called Pachisi (or Sugoroku in the Japanese version), but several DQ games with this minigame refer to it as Treasures 'n Trapdoors.

Similar games include Wily & Right no RockBoard: That's Paradise for NES (which got a fan translation AGES ago), Board Game: Top Shop, Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler and the Sugoroku mini game from Samurai Warriors 2.

...it looks like people made some really nice l pickups, Steel Empire, Fortune Street, and Sea of Stars are all very cool. I'm way late w/my November stuff, sort of light and all Switch stuff. I just haven't been able to really get out there and look for some classic stuff lately. Mario Wonder is a blast and incredibly geeked to finally have a physical copy of Castle Crashers too. The new Bomber should great fun w/my kids and I'm hoping the Atari 50th collections keeps me from diving back down the 7800 rabbit hole. December has been looking light pickups wise, but maybe I can diversify my pickups a bit

I picked up a copy of Adventure Island 3 for the NES this weekend! I have a lot of NES games; so, I don’t get new NES games very frequently. I was delighted to find this for a good price at a local store, though, since it’s the last NTSC Adventure Island I need for my collection. (I still need Adventure Island IV for the Famicom, but it may be a while before I get that game…)

I apologize for being too lazy to put up pictures. I added these to my collection

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder's Revenge Anniversary Edition - Switch.

I was initially underwhelmed with this game, but it's grown on me. Nothing will ever beat Turtles in Time on the SNES though. The Anniversary Edition is the new physical release with all of the post launch content on the cartridge. It looks like this:

Image

Dredge - Switch
Dodgeball Academia - Switch
Oddworld Collection - Switch
Sonic Superstars - Switch.
Smelter - Switch (European release)
Bug Fables - Switch

The one with THIS cover:

Image

The ebay seller sent me two LRG cards too

I also got a modded version of this from a reputable guy who also has a youtube channel

Image

Finally get to enjoy that OLED screen people keep raving about. I have Zelda versions of the 3ds and the New Nintendo 3DS XL (they're also modded) so i figured I'd keep the theme going. I'm more into old school, 2d Zelda than the modern ones, but I do like the Zelda aesthetic.

Fun fact: TMNT: Shredder's Revenge is available (technically) on ArkOS and JELOS devices via Portmaster, but you HAVE TO use the files from the Steam version.

Truest me. I tried with the Xbox Game Pass version and it failed to work. I even got it to work on the RGB30, which ironically struggles with most Doom mods.
