how do i load my game?

zsnesw is the emulator im using and i used save state. Now when i go back to load state its not doing anything.

ZSNES should put the game back to where the save state was after you hit ESC again.

is it possible to save with out using save slots? Say i get to save point a, is it possible to just save using the in game save?

where does that save go? I remember doing this a while back but wasnt able to load my game.

I believe with both ZSNES and SNES9x, the save goes into the same directory as the rom file.

It'll be called the same name as the rom, but with an SRM file extension - (romname.srm)
