How Do You Store Your Controllers?

Post by racketboy »

Does anyone have any relatively unique way of organizing or storing controllers?
I've personally had many times where I let mind get jumbled in a tangled mess....

I have one of those 3 drawer plastic carts and I just try to keep them separated in there.

I use small Rubbermaid containers labeled for most of my systems. Inside I neatly wrap/organize the box's contents.

all my loose and boxed NES carts are in a cd bookcase, label facing out.

my ps1 and DC discs are on the same CD bookcase

all my loose genesis carts are in a cassette tape organizer in a drawer.

My Boxed genesis, boxed SegaCD, and boxed Saturn games are on DVD bookcases.

I need more DVD bookshelves for my xbox, ps2 and gamecube games

xbox and NES console stay under the TV hooked up all the time.

I have a long credenza that i store most of the rest of my consoles in when not in use.

nothing very unique, but it works

edit: and I just noticed that this was a controller thread. my bad

I loosely wrap the cords around the controller. I have a breadbag for each consoles controllers and the breadbags go into a box that I keep in the credenza.

well, back to the topic of controllers....

I keep mine in a big igloo cooler in the closet. The cooler also doubles as a seat for player 2.

Not a bad idea.... I guess that works for those little ottomans that have storage inside...

I've got a cloth shoe rack hanging in my wardrobe with all my systems and cables and controllers in. I recently bought some runner bands and attack them all since I was tired of untying them all the time.
I'm actually a bit short of controllers and after I superseded all RF leads I own with Scart or RCA leads, spare controllers is next on my hardware wants list

I use a shoe holder now, inspired by a post you had at the Game Rooms section of the blog =)
