Man, we need to merge some threads. Good info in here, but also good info in the older topics.

Doubtful, but I'll check that when I receive the SmartJoy FRAG. My guess is the mouse emulation will not be as sensitive (as in the EdgeFX) since the analog stick is being emulated. Putting the sensitivity in a given game menu to max helps to make the mouse respond smooth.noiseredux wrote:if that thing plugs into a controller port, then it should also support PS1 mouse games. Right??
Anapan wrote:Huh, never heard of it. That's a cool device you have there.
According to comments on it's Amazon page it's a PS1 mouse clone and therefore only compatible with PS1 mouse games on the original console.

I'll but it off ya.
I have that Trakball, only works on certain PS1 games. A great controller, unfortunately the game list is short. My biggest frustration is the first Command and Conquer is not supported. One of the better obscure games that work beautiful is Sentinel Returns, a quicker response for snagging all the trees. Also Lemmings a must have Mouse control type of game.darth_blunted wrote:I have the classic trackball by nyko sealed in box and was wondering if this trackball works on ps2? I know it doesn't work with emulation ie: epsxe because my friend let me try his out before I bought mine but I only used his on my playstation since it didn't work on my pc.

Woa! I didn't know about Missile Command Mouse support on the PSX. Thankyou!darth_blunted wrote:I have this list saved to favorites already! but notice how it doesn't mention working with NAMCOT oopps NAMCO Museum games (like missle command???)
I am using it here @ 34 secs playing Missle command for ps1 (confirmed!) plus I am going to try it on pong the next level (not going to open my sealed copy so I'll have to dl and play on my modded ps1) for ps1 to see if it workson that too!

Did you mean the PS1 Atari Anniversary Edition? Come to think of it Centipede is in that set too. Also Pong, Super Breakout and Warlords! I wonder if these are Mouse supported too? I'll have to dig that one out and give it a go. Missile Command and Centipede are great with the Atari 5200 Trakball.
Okay, the Mouse is listed on the back cover. Please let me know about that Pong Next Level game, the mouse is not listed on the cover. I just updated Wiki for Atari Anniversary Edition.
