dsheinem's MONTH OF HORROR! What horror games will you play?

A few years ago I started making it an annual tradition to try and play almost exclusively horror-themed games during the month of October. I'm actually not a big Halloween nut, but I do enjoy horror games and films, and October does seem to be a very appropriate month in which to enjoy them.

Here's what I'm considering playing for October:

Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
Silent Hill: Origins (PS2)
Splaterhouse 2 (GEN)
King of the Monsters (PS2) (Neo Geo Collection) - Together Retro game!
Mutant League Football (GEN) (a run through the playoffs)
Resident Evil 0 (GCN)
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii)
Brutal Legend (PS3)
Little Red Riding Hood Zombie BBQ (DS)
Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins (PSP)
Alien vs. Predator (JAG)
Haunted House (2600)

I actually debated focusing exclusively on the Silent Hill series as I have only beat SH1, but I don't want to get burned out on them. I'll be surprised if I can get through all these, but it's a goal. I'll actually probably add a few arcade games via MAME to play for short bursts here and there as well, but haven't gone through that list just yet. All of these are games I haven't ever beat, some are games I've never played.

Anyway, what games do you plan to play to celebrate the MONTH OF HORROR?

I ran through most of the HOTD games last year in October - excellent choice! If you haven't played Overkill, you're in for a treat.

I really want Overkill. My wife and I love 2 & 3 on the Wii, so we want Overkill now.

Playing Alan Wake right now just finished episode 2. This game is pretty awesome. Next, I'm plan on finishing Siren Lost Translation and Silent Hill Shattered Memories. And if theres still time before Gran Turismo 5 comes out Fatal Frame 3 and Haunting Ground. These have been on my back log long enough.

I was thinking about trying the new version of Haunted House that Atari just pushed out to Steam. The graphical style is..interesting..for a horror game, but who knows. I've been surprised before.

If I ever get my damn laptop back from the repair shop at Fry's (you estimate 5-6 weeks!? You gotta be kidding me!) then I will be playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I had to stop playing 2 or 3 weeks ago when I took my laptop in for warranty service. I've been dying to get back to playing it. That game is terrifying.

I'm not really much of a horror person but I really enjoy the House of the Dead series. Will be focusing on House of the Dead 2 (Dreamcast) and OverKill (Wii) this month and with any luck I will be able to finish them.
