LOOK HERE FOR A REALLY EASY MOD TO MAKE
A quick and easy mod to create is a XBOX USB controller for the PC. Just take an original XBOX controller cut off the end and strip the cable. You will have 4 wires exposed. Take a USB cable. Identify the end that will plug into the USB port on your computer and make sure that you do not cut that end off. Instead cut off the opposite end. You will also have 4 wires which will share the same color code as the wires from your XBOX controller. Solder them together and you will have a functional controller to use on your PC. You will need to download drivers to make it work however. These can be found at: http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html

UPDATE ON THIS MOD... I found out that you can use your XBOX-USB controller as an Action Replay without buying a thing. Put a memory card in your XBOX controller and plug the controller into your PC. Download the XBOX Action Replay software from codejunkies.com and you can transfer the code saves to your memory card. Transfer them to the XBOX HD and you are good to go. Also as a side note you must have the XBCD driver installed on your PC for the controller to be recognized on your PC.

this is a xbox to pc adaptor. basically, plug this into your pc usb port and plug in a xbox controller using the drivers that retrogamer posted and your able to use a xbox controller on your pc and copy files to the memory card.

this second one is a female A usb ports. it came from the front usb ports of a broken pc case. the big long cord came from a old broken logitech xbox controller. its extra long too then a normal xbox controller cord. so i used it and soldered it on there. what this does is allows you to hook this up to your xbox and giving u the ability to use usb devices on your xbox. like say converting a usbkey into a memory card/storage device. or being able to plug in a usb keyboard or mouse. its all plug and play, works 100%.
i can make these for free for anyone if they supply the materials and shipping. can prolly cost ya $3-4 just to ship it. im sure everyone has a broken xbox controller lying around along with a unused usb extension cord or port.
