I have a question with the sf alpha games for it. When I see gameplay it's almost like no loading time but I have the Jpn versions of the game and I'm using a action replay for my us system. Is that why I'm getting so much loading time because I'm using imports? I'm not saying it's a long time but comparing to what I see on YouTube it's almost night and day

Most YouTube folks edit out much of the loading times. They might also be playing on an emulator instead of a real system.

Ohh ok thanks for that. I did get at the GameStop site sonic 3D blast and virtua cop 2 for 18.00 total. I used my discount plus the free shipping coupon and the additional 16%off coupon. Let's see if they come in disc only for me I don't care about Saturn cases and manuals

So I put some of my DC and Marvel HC's up on Facebook and I worked out a trade for a Sega Saturn. In short I'm getting the following (all games are complete as are the virtual sticks and Action Replay):
Saturn with two controllers
Two virtual sticks
Virtua Fighter 2
Galactic Attack - US
Capcom Generations 1 - JPN
Gunbird - JPN
Panzer Dragoon - US
Donpachi - JPN
Action Replay Plus
Not guaranteed but he thinks he has a 3-D controller somewhere as well.

I got rid of my Saturn years ago so I'm kind of excited plus to start off with some great games is even better. I know I want X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs Street Fighter, and Marvel vs Street Fighter. Is there anything else I should really be looking for? Can a Saturn play burned discs? I know my last one did but can all of them?

That's an impressive Saturn lot you got there. Goodtimes.

Hmm? Your want list seems to convey an interest in Capcom 2D fighters. There's plenty more on the Saturn to keep an Eye out for. 2 installments in the Vampire (Darkstalkers) series. There's also Cyberbots, Pocket Fighter. Lots of stuff to look out for on the Saturn around that genre.

Speak of I finally got Rockman X4 on my Saturn this weekend. Pretty happy to have and play.

Jim stay on the import route. I find that the games that you and I want are like the marvel vs games and the fighters and shmups are totally worth picking up. I def would pick up the Saturn 3 pak which is virtua fighter 2, virtua cop, and Daytona. I bought it new for 12.00 on ebay.
As for me thanks to 8 bit my Saturn fighters just jumped big time. I got xmen cota, battle areana ura, kof 95, 96 and my Daytona jpn championship edition came in. Daytona is awesome when you change the time of day to night.
Man I wish now I NEVER SOLD MY US LIBRARY IN 2002. But that's what happens when you loose your job back then. I only got 400.00 for the entire us library and yes I owned Daytona netlink edition. Got it at software ect. for 2.99 because they were clearance the games out and used the Daytona championship edition as a sku. I remember fondly because my buddy pete worked there and he showed me and said he never seen the netlink version.
Fast forward 12 years man that cash would be nice in my bank right now.

I finally got the Saturn gun. Played Area 51, virtua cop 1 and 2 fun games. Also got some games from secret Santa and my fighting games looks pretty good right now
Xmen vs street fighter
Marvel vs street fighter
Xmen Cota
Marvel super heroes
Street fighter zero
Street fighter zero 2
Vampire hunter
Vampire savior
Fighters megamix
Virtua fighter 2
Kof 95
Kof 96
Not too shabby and believe me I'm glad I own a action replay. Just Xmen alone in the us cost about as much as most of these cost me.

Nice. My fondest memories of light gun games are with the Saturn. To this day still think the Virtua Cop series is my favorite in the genre.

That's a good haul there mas. Marvel vs. Street Fighter is the last Capcom fighter on my list for the Saturn (that I'm after).
