Have you played ATARI today!!!
Re: Have you played with an ATARI today!!!
Hey Mas, congrats on your 2K being about Atari! I played the same drinking game over at my godfather's place a couple of years ago on an Atari Flashback. I left the system there and bought another - he loved it too much to take it away from him. We cranked his stereo to the point that my ears were ringing when we stepped out for a smoke break. Good times!

I've mentioned this in the past, but relevant here: I have the Atari 80 Classic Games PC release (and a USB Atari joystick). The cool thing about that disc is that it literally has an emulator exe that you can use to run any 2600 game you want. Obviously this is more of a novelty as there are better emus out there of course. But it's kind of neat anyway.

I heard about this game. If I see it, is it worth to pick up?
I also have a game called sea quest? I'm not sure the right name but it's from activision. Going to have to try it today

Yeah Tac/Scan is a neat ol' Sega shooter. Uses the paddle controllers.
Seaquest is alright. There are better Activision games but it's worth a play now and again.

Seaquest rocks, it's easily my favorite 2600 Activision title. The difficulty ramps up just right.

Have both the Atari 2600 cart and the exclusive Arcade console version on the PS2 Sega Genesis Collection.
If I remember right, though the 2600 does use the paddle controls as a spinner it only has THREE directions! No smooth rotation at all! The PS2 Arcade version is spot onto the Color Vector Arcade and uses a mouse, trakball or even a small RC Style" driving controller to emulate the Arcade Spinner.

Tac/Scan is really freaking neat. That reminds me I need to find a copy of it for the 2600.
Seaquest is a favorite of mine. I'm a sucker for classic games with Defender-esque rescue mechanics.

Does the Jaguar CD count? (That's the closest to an "Atari" I've played in months).
If so, I found a cheap copy of Myst.
I must have forgotten how irritating this game was for me back in the day.
I was reminded pretty rapidly after just a short sitting with this version.
If you have a high tolerance level and patience to burn, this could be for you.
