I wish I had musicians near me that were actually serious about making some music. Been playing drums since I was in 5th grade, but I have not found anyone that was as into music as I am.

Been in like 10 bands, and they were all just full of crap.

Makes me really sad, as I love music more than anything.

I did enjoy looking through some of the music you guys have in here. I never know this thread exsisted! Gonna look though TEKTOROs stuff when I get home.

My issue is that no one wants me in their band or thinks that I'm decent at anything...even though I've played piano for 13 years (and won competitions), was a top singer in my high school's choir, and can pick up an instrument quickly (learned a song on guitar for a school Gong Show in a month, and played WHILE singing).

I've pretty much given up any hope of ever being in a band at this point.

You're probably too good for them and they are being cocks.

Seriously.

I wish I had that problem. lol. I just suck.

Haha, you can't be THAT bad. I have a friend that's the lead singer for his band and it's plain painful. They covered a Beatles song (can't remember which) and I wanted to tear my hair out.

And yet he kept putting me down earlier this year for being a crappy singer on Facebook. I mentioned it to another of my friends and he gave me the weird look he gives for when he can't believe something. :P

On another note, it's nice having perfect pitch.

I haven't got the cash for that, unfortunately. I mean, I'm a college student that collects video games and is trying to run a website that needs things from time to time (like the USB microphone I'm getting for my podcast). Not really conducive to getting all that stuff.

I've been meaning to try some different programs to possibly do chiptunes or something but I've been hella busy.
