Mixture of eBay and local shops.
Re: Games Acquired 2019
You must have some great local shops!

I'm using Maine terminology. Local = everything within a two-hour radius.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
My first update of the year:
January:
Katamari Damacy Reroll Switch eShop - £15.99
Neutopia Wii VC
Neutopia II Wii VC
The Ignition Factor Wii VC - all 3 for £14.70
Total: 4 games - £30.69
4 games this month. Katamari I bought for my girlfriend to play after she enjoyed the demo, and because I wanted it anyway - her liking it just sped up the process
The other 3 games were what I decided to use my last 2100 Wii points on before the shop shut down. Neutopia and Neutopia 2 because they're expensive in English now and The Ignition Factor because it never came out here originally.

Neutopia won't knock your socks off, but the two titles are fun and scratch some of that classic Zelda itch pretty well.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
I think Neutopia is actually pretty fantastic. Yeah, it's derivative, but very well-done with some great tunes and lovely art. I don't recall the sequel being as good, though I may have just been fatigued from the first game.
That said, The Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite games ever, so a well-crafted "rip-off" is gonna be pretty fun in my book.
(As an aside, Golden Axe Warrior did nothing for me. Found it clunky and annoying.)

Using the format from last year (with added totals and monetary information).
New
Bonus List Digital Purchases
Retro
New: 0 - $0
Retro: 2 - $43
Total: 2 - $43
Notes:
In my attempt to spread my horizons this year, to genres I don't have that much experience with, here comes Evil Genius, a management sim from the early 2000's that was exclusively released for PC. The game is also on GOG and Steam, but I obviously opted for the original physical release, since I actually like owning my games. The price was a little higher than it should be since I opted for tracked shipping, but I don't mind paying the premium for near guaranteed delivery, one of the many prices I pay for living in a hell hole.

Re: Games Acquired 2019
Managed to hit up two game stores in central Maine today. My finds:
Edit: Just got these beauties in the mail. I'm gonna play one of them for this month's Together Retro. Do you know which one?
