I didn't know much about this game. Didn't realize it was even part of the 'Stalker' series of games. Sounds like kind of a mixed bag though, eh? I can't say I'm gonna run out and add to the top of my "to get" list.
Yeah, it's a mixed bag and I nearly didn't feature it, but it's still a game I have fond memories of, despite its flaws. It's worth playing just for the story and unique 'parallel' system. I mean, it came out in 1996! I wonder why Telltale and Quantic Dream couldn't come up with a similar system, on a larger scale, for their 'interactive movie' style games, where a seemingly simple choice could lead a player down a genuinely entirely different path. It's definitely something I haven't seen explored in video games since Dark Savior.
