I have the Gamecube ver, thou I haven't touch it in a couple of years; I never got beyond stage 3.

I gotta say the Ikaruga requires you to think different from other shum'up, not just surviving, but also to take risk with its polarity system.

Don't know if I will pop this in my old Wii and play with the Wavebird controller in the near future.

I guess I'm just dropping scores in the other thread and talking in here.

This game is fun, but it hurts my brain with all the switching and patterns and whatnot. I can see why folks liken this to a puzzle game.

Still at Chapter 2 survival wise. I took mjmjmjmjmr's scoring tips in the other thread for the opening prologue and actually managed to chain the whole thing once. Had to get my numbers back up because noise was trying to call me out...

Nah son, where YOU at? 8)

My copy of Ikaruga arrived a few days ago, so Ill be joining in soon enough.

Pretty sure the furthest point I ever reached was the stage 3 tunnel where it gets fast and the walls close on you, although I might have reached the stage 3 boss ( a big wheel thing right?)

That's with the standard 3 credits though. Are other people using credits or only doing a single credit run?

Single credit runs for score, however many you want for fun.

It's alright Noise, my score is actually worse.

Just finished my first run, playing for survival on Normal. I'm using credits (3), but the score I'm submitting is from my first, so that should be OK right?

The score is 896,990.

That will work. Remember what chapter (stage) you made it to by chance?
