I have the must haves, like Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skies of Arcadia, Mario Kart Double Dash, Smash Bros. Melee etc.
But I also have the games that I love to death like Phantasy Star Online Ep. 3 C.A.R.D. Battle, Harvest Moon: A wonderful life, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, Megaman Collection, Sonic Gems Collection, Sonic Mega Collection, Baten Kaitos, Tales of Symphonia and on and on and on.
It isn't much, but it definitely is the collection of games that I want.
Yeah, I definitely won't have a "huge" gc library but I will have the essentials and others I don't already have. Though almost all of them are probably in demand by people that can afford to spend 20 or more per game...I've been mostly focusing on grabbing what cheap ones i can get now and i'm going to try and spend the summer getting the more expensive titles that I want...especially because my budget is going to be a lot larger then since no tuition holding me back.
Some it of yes will go to savings, and other goals but I will be trying to get some decent deals with the more expensive titles out there. Especially a ton of what you guys listed...some of those I know good and well if I try getting them it won't be for another month or two...

Small!
Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean
Evolution Worlds
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life
Ikaruga
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
Lost Kingdoms
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Phantasy Star Online Episode III: CARD Revolution
Resident Evil 4
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Sonic Heroes
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Tales of Symphonia
Viewtiful Joe 2
Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble
That be it.
I run into GameCube games in the wild every so often, but as far as cross-platform titles go they're always cheaper and easier to find on the PS2 or Xbox.
Most of the remaining exclusives I'd like to get are expensive. Haven't been making an effort to track them down, hoping I run into some of them for cheap.
Great console. Though I admit I generally play my GameCube games on my Wii... with a matching white Japanese GameCube controller.

Heh I play mine on the wii too...but only because I never owned a gamecube...my only problem(and probably because I haven't looked up how to do it) is not being able to exit and go to a different game using a wii remote or something....wished they would of added that feature before forgoing that model. (but I will admit before really starting I blew mine out with a can of compressed air...dang did that thing need it but then again so did the nes but I didn't open it up) i would love to have some of the games on your list especially some of the decent first party ones and possibly the rpg's. I never played rpgs on the system and really want to give it a go...

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
I am seeking 31 games to complete my Gamecube collection, but it currently includes:
With the Gamecube, I tend to focus on exclusives and certain categories of games. Accordingly, my Gamecube collection is significantly smaller than my PS2 and Xbox collections. The Gamecube has some great titles, however; so what my collection lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality.

Alright, lets see ...
Still missing plenty of titles I was looking for.
I also have a GBA Player and component cables and all that junk.

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
I once had up to maybe more than 30 games now I am down to just 9. Still need to buy back the RE's I sold, lol.

I like your collection, we have lots of the same stuff. I'd love to get some of that stuff like MGS and some of those Resident Evil games but the prices are kind of scaring me off for now.

And you should get.

Yup. GC ports always seem to be harder to find or slightly more expensive on many cross-platform titles. In the wild, it's hard to find stuff for the GC (or GBA for that matter) that isn't a wildly overpriced Nintendo made game or some licensed children's/cartoon crap. It seemed in that time period there was more of those type of games for both of those.
General question to all: How are those 2 StarFox games? I know there's a lot of on-foot action but do we get lots of flying too like on the SNES?
I take it back -- seeing everyone's GC collections gets me all excited and wanting more. Good thread!
