The Four Kings are difficult.

They were easier at release, before they nerfed Iron Skin.

I might try Lightning Spear, I guess they are weak lightning. I don't have many pyromancies.

Lightning spear wasn't better than Quelaag's Furysword. Equipped the Grasscrest shield and I got a lot further, but a mistimed roll got me a bearhug of death. Might have to go buy some stamina boosts or level up some. Frustrated for now, I'm gonna take a break.

You're at the point where many other paths and bosses are available. Head somewhere else for a bit and then come back with a vengeance.
Definitely one of the coolest boss fights in the franchise to me.

Yeah, I know there are other paths, I was just following along with Bonfireside Chat. I also agree that it's pretty darn cool. Where should I head to next? I think they have Duke's Archives next, maybe I'll do that.Xeogred wrote:You're at the point where many other paths and bosses are available. Dukes Archives is amazing and leads to the craziest level in the franchise... lol.
I thought the Demon Ruins were pretty easy, but others seem to have issues there.
Tomb of Giants is a shorter area, but can be a bit of a pain. Those dino sized skeleton enemies were a real nightmare and hit like a train. And if only DS1 had the torch, haha...
