If you even slightly enjoyed Castlevania III you need to play this right now. A loving homage that is incredibly accessible and has multiple reasons to play through it a bunch of times, this is an excellent retro inspired indie.

A solid shooter on a platform graced with very few standouts.

A decent follow-up that corrects the flaws of the original port but not much else. This is the same game in a new skin.

A weird case of mistaken identity has led most to wander what the hell is up with this game. Judge it on its own merits and its a pretty good action game in spite of its quirky controls.

Cobra Triangle

Cobra Triangle is a solid game but I'll be damned if I could recommend it to anyone. The ridiculous difficulty spike at the halfway point really brings it down. Why does Rare do this so constantly?

A rail shooter that is a good idea on paper but not so much in practice.

Christ avoid this one. Don't let your curiosity get the better of you no matter how much it looks like Castlevania. It is not worth it.

Ren & Stimpy: Stimpy's Invention

Probably the best Ren & Stimpy which at first isn't saying much as THQ ran that license into the ground. Sega and Blue Sky Software have crafted a legitimately solid game here that is only let down by its short length. But its a hell of a ride in multiplayer while it lasts.

Pocky & Rocky

What a great game. Behind the bright facade lies a top down shooter that presents a serious challenge. I love the mechanics and pacing and really wish the series had a higher profile because it deserves it.
