Screenshots have been posted on neogaf: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=429344

I kind of like the filter... it works in some scenes and in others it looks awful. I like the penciled in watercolor look. It suits the game better than redrawn HD, Newgrounds flash wannabe sprites would have. Oh, and the filter can be turned off.

Hopefully it will have multiple palettes like SF4 PC, because those pictures are poor. Maybe it looks better moving?

I guess they can't be arsed to draw new high-res sprites, huh. That scaling is horrible too, but then, all scalers are horrible. Filtering has some use in covering up anti-aliasing when you scale down, otherwise it's worse than useless.

I think the sprites look nice but those environments are hideous.

Yeah, I haven't even played Guardian Heroes (googled for some comparisons) and that looks gross.

Stop freakin' out folks. The filter can be turned off. SEGA says they will explain more about the filters later this month.

I'm aware it can be turned off, but that doesn't change the fact it looks god awful.

I was unaware of this, none of the news stories I saw said that. As long as it is optional that is fine by me.
