A Grain of Truth

This is a simple point and click puzzle game, but I really love the dreamy art style.

Love Punks

The Love Punks are a group of kids from the community of Roebourne in West Australia. They are aged 9-11 and working with the Yijala Yala Project, a community art project that works with the people that live in the area. They made this game. They have also made a music video and a short zombie movie. I really love the aesthetic of what they are doing and it's nice to see such young kids that are so creative and fun loving and simply unusual.

Flip'd

Image

This game was influenced by Portal and VVVVVV and it shows. It's a first person puzzler with a gravity flip mechanic. It has a cool clean style, though the flipping might make you nauseous.

Too restrictive of a view which makes the puzzles needlessly hard. But a good design overall.

Relive Your Life

Image

I'm posting this here so I remember to try it later because I like the concept which is described as an "oddly violent little game that will let you guide a person from conception to death."

This one it's addictive, really well though, any small decision can change a lot on the ending... and there's like 12!

First Person Tutor

Image
*Click to Play*

This is a clever joke of a game. In First Person Tutor, you are a poor graduate student trying to pay off student loans and you have to make your money by failing students that piss off the evil professor you work for, Dr. Paynuss. You make more money by finding more typos and grammatical errors so that you can fail students. Try it, it's good for a laugh.

Enough Plumbers

Image

This is a clever puzzle platformer game. It has an obvious Mario Bros influence, but the gameplay is something different. You clone yourself every time you grab a coin and you have to get at least one of the clones to the flag along the way.
