No. I have this though. I either play on those or a set of headphones.

There are plenty of quiet parts with no enemies where you can sense your fear build up wondering when they will attack again. Tossing them in at choice points during a puzzle adds to the surprise as well. So far, I'm really digging this game. Hoping to play more later.

Are you playing with surround sound? I'm at the tail end of alan wake right now, and i think i'm going to do a second playthrough of deadspace after i get through it. I got surround sound after playing it, and i feel like it might just be a whole new game with it.

Playing with headphones is hands down the best way to play Dead Space. You can hear all the creaks, rattles and all the lovely inhabitants rummaging around the ship. Also its easier to tell which way enemies are coming from. Its a much more immersive way to experience the game. I can't wait for part 2, lets hope they don't screw it up.

unless there is a game where you simulate dressing up and passing out candy, i am pretty sure most halloween games = horror games

having a crappy year, so no new stuff. I'm thinking I'll actually get around to finishing RE 2. I have a dreamcast ver around here somewhere...

If the 360 wouldn't have died last month, I might've tried to find a copy of doom3. Always scares the pants off me.

Yesterday I downloaded the demo of Costume Quest from XBLM. I then proceeded to play it to completion in one sitting. I highly recommend it, so fun!

I let my son play the demo for a while yesterday. He had fun just running around hitting stuff with his candy bag, but I actually thought the game had a lot of charm.

I'm debating getting the game Ghost Master while it's on sale at gog. Though the graphics are crappy, it's supposed to be a really entertaining strategy/sim game where you lead a team of ghosts to go scare the living. It's sounds like light hearted fun.
