Ironically I only get smacked with slowdown on Duckstation and the SwanStation Retroarch core. It runs well on PCSX ReARMed Retroarch core, but the core doesn't have the ability to fix the wobbly 3D graphics that Duckstation has.

So I tried to install a handful of Ouya apps from The Internet Archive and a handful of them actually run quite well.

Some games I tried, like the Ouya port of Final Fantasy III, outright crashed. Some games that managed to load, like Super Indie Kart, just wouldn't work without an actual Ouya controller.

Here's some of the games I tried and so far work well:

* all the Locomolito games (i.e. Maldita Castilla, EFMB) seem to work
* ChargeShot
* Donkey-Me
* Super Crate Box (don't know if there's a native Android port of this or not)
* Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe
* Freedom Fall
* Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge (there's a strange glitch when accessing the settings menu from the main menu, though)
* You Don't Know Jack, though there's no option to unlock the game and it's basically just a demo
* Duck Game
* Neon Shadow, though fire is mapped to the right bumper instead of the right trigger

EDIT: added a few more titles I've tested.

So I loaded Sonic 1 Forever, based on Rubberduckcooly's decomp of the Retro Sonic engine remake of sonic 1, and it works no problem (so far). Same with the RSDKv5 decomp that allows for a native Android port of Sonic Mania and Sonic Mania Plus.

Rubberduckycooly also did decomps of the Sonic CD and Sonic 2 remakes.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Basically someone got the Taxman remakes of Sonic CD/1/2 running on PC and they've been ported to other consoles. But apparently they have advantages over their original releases.

And they did the same thing with Sonic Mania which runs on a later version of the same engine and now you can play Sonic Mania Plus on Android devices, including the Retroid Pocket 3 Plus, and like the previous RSDK games it has mod support.

Been going ham on Doom mods, mostly TCs that (more or less) work with Brutal Doom, all running via Delta Touch.

Thankfully it's WAY easier than Build engine game mods via Zeta Touch.

Still trying to figure out how to get Quake mods to work.
