Those are not entirely appropriate for children...

Bone...be sure to look up Snowball for the Wii U. It is a new game that looks and plays like an old one. (I haven't tried it yet, but I have actually had good luck with some of those on the Wii U. Shadow Archer, for example, is awesome.). Also, it stars a baby seal rather than a penguin, but that's close enough, right?

Thin Ice (Intellivision)
Penguin Adventure (absurdly expensive)
Amazing Penguin (Game Boy)
Arctic Adventure: Penguin & Seal (Sachen game, can't find it, too rare?)
Yume Penguin Monogatari (Famicom)
Antarctic Adventure (ColecoVision, Famicom)

Am I missing any? I only want games that are explicitly penguin-y. No "Well.... King Dedede is a penguin" type stuff.

Tanks.

I would add:
Penguin-Kun-Wars for Famicom. It's a fun game. Also, Doki Doki Penguin Land for the Sega Megadrive, I've seen some bootlegs on Genesis carts too. Also there's a MSX version.
How about Madagascar for the Game Boy Advance? It has penguins as characters. Also Happy feet was released for DS & Wii.

I played through NinPen Manmaru recently. Has an adorable penguin protagonist. I would recommend stopping by the last level, though, if you don't want to be swearing in front of your kids.

Is it weird that literally any time someone mentions ColecoVision get a chuckle out of 'Connecticut Leather Company'? Yes, it's probably weird. Has anyone ever modded a ColecoVision with a leather cover and/or wrap? If not someone should really get on that. Just sayin.

What about letting her do the penguin race on Mario 64. I always loved that!

This one runs fines in DOSBox as well. I found the PC port before selling my Jag copy. The Jag has 12 games or so I'd consider very solid. Considering that's 25% of the commercial library (49 commercial carts), that's not a bad ratio at all . Mutant Penguins is confusing but quite fun once you get the hang of it. Try it out on PC.
