3V lithium battery. Number 2430. You can pick them up (in Canada) near the checkouts (battery section, duh!) at Future Shop. $6 +tax. Or you can get a different one and just solder it in. Quite a few different sizes. All should work, but a bigger one might be the best bet. Bigger often means a longer charge (in mAh).racketboy wrote:Oh -- maybe you're right. Edit: after some research, I found that the other 3V lithium batteries may have a significantly lower charge (like, 1\2 to 1\3) compared to the 2430 or 2450. Go for the longest mAh you can find, as that means this should happen even less. Hell, if you want to find a guide and solder in a battery pack with some NiMH AAs, you'll get up to 2500 mAh or more! Spend a few $$, charge the batteries and never worry about it again. $10 or $15 investment.
