A). Sucks he's leaving. I've appreciated his work for over two decades, even if I didn't know it was his.

B). I don't really care for any of those designs.

C). It's obvious Shinsuke Komaki didn't win for his ability to write in English. I suppose I should congratulate him for winning on the Hiroine Design Contest.

Good for him. If he stays in games he'll probably be able to have much more control over what he does wherever he winds up.

I didn't know anything about that character design contest, but there all garbage. They probably would've gotten similar results if they held it on deviant art.

This is extremely depressing to me. What will this mean for the future of Megaman, especially the Classic and X series?

This is pretty sick. I'm afraid to watch as all of the great minds in the industry start leaving, and unfortunately I think that day may be approaching faster than we realize.

Maybe if we're really lucky, the disenchanted master designers and developers will eventually band together to form an entirely new studio (yeah, I know most of them area already in separate upstart studios of their own). Yu Suzuki, Yuji Naka, Shinji Mikami, and Keiji Inafune... could you imagine it?

I'm sad that he won't likely been involved in future Rockman games... I suspect it's all going to seem like doijin work to me from here on out. However, I don't think good old Inafking is leaving the gaming industry. According to the Wikipedia article about him, he will be going to Konami. After more than two decades with the same company, that would certainly feel like starting life over.

It looks like they'll be making it without him. I'm really sad about that, because he's wanted to make that game for a very long time.
