Kodansha vs Capcom

Don't know who Kodansha is? They own the manga magazines that publish Sailor Moon, Ghost In The Shell, Akira, Devilman, Devil Lady, Mazinger Z, Great Teacher Onizuka, Gunsmith Cats, Blade of the Immortal, Mahō Sensei Negima, Vagabond, and too many others to name.

I keep hearing rumblings about Ono wanting to do a Darkstalkers 4.

Unfortunately, I've heard that he wants to do it with the Street Fighter IV engine, which I don't like the sound of. Using the Tatsunoko vs Capcom engine would be a much better choice.

But hey, whatever. Let's get a new Darkstalkers, with some new characters.

Maybe for new characters, they could turn Marionette and Anita into full-fledged characters (they're just too cool to remain such minor characters). Also, there's tons of monster types they haven't touched yet:

Dullahan
Medusa
Minotaur
Harpy
Kitsune
Kappa
Golem

And I'm sure there are plenty of movie monsters they could take off on too, like maybe The Fly and The Invisible Man.


By the way, Capcom: Here's how you would sell out of Kodansha vs Capcom day one:

I've already purchased my copy of Kodansha vs. Capcom thanks to that cover art, and it hasn't even been made yet.
