List Games That You Think Are Hidden Gems For The N64

by racketboy Tue Nov 21, 2006 6:02 pm

I'm getting ready to put together a contest for the site, but in preparation, I would like everybody to list games that they think are excellent, but haven't received the recognition they deserve (chose 1 to 10 games that haven't been listed yet).

Please post the titles below and once the contest kicks off, you will have an opportunity to tell why the games are deserving in order to have a chance at winning some great prizes.

Here's the list so far:
Rush 2
Blast Corps
Beetle Adventure Racing
Ogre Battle 64
Rocket: Robot on Wheels
Sin & Punishment
Mischeif Makers
Hybrid Heaven
Re-Volt
Bangai O
Space Station Silicon Valley
Wetrix

Enter the contest here:

I don't think that there really is much any hidden gems in the n64 department, as their games were advertised very well. And games we're made so that everyone could get them. The only hidden gems I believe would have to be imports.

yet again, IMO

There's several hidden gems on the N64...

Racket, is this one excluded cause it already had won?

Space Station Silicon Valley

And wasn't the winning game supposed to get a review on the main page?? :)

Conker's Bad Fur Day

If I recall correctly, it was released near the end of the N64's prime, and was overlooked by many imo. Also, due to the Mature rating, I do not think it got much exposure. It is a truly great game.

Wetrix was another one. It was an excellent 3d puzzle game that was both challenging and fun. It is a must play.

And yeah, you won't be able to write about it again for this contest :)

Actually, the game had a lot of word-of-mouth and did get a lot of attention -- also received a remake on the XBox

Hey -- it's my site -- I can do whatever I want :D

Anyway, I'm too lazy to put all of the proper user quotes in one post.
