I played the demo and the combat system was excellent. I think the cast in Vesperia is much stronger as far as the current gen Tales games go. Tales of Vesperia is one of the best current gen JRPGs I've played, feels so old school. Loved every second of it.

This is the first Tales of game I have played so I cannot say how much I like it in comparison to other Tales of games. I know Tales of the Abyss is the favorite of a lot of Tales of fans that I have met. My 3DS copy of that game will be here next week. :)

I love it so far, but no dual audio... Unfortunately. But you can definitely find undubbed versions of the game for the PS1, PS2, PSP, etc.

If I make it through Abyss and Graces f and enjoy them both I will pick up Vesperia and some of the others.

Well, after hearing that looks like I'm gonna be importing if I ever play this one, I just can't tolerate dubs of any kind.

As for Vesperia on 360, I don't think it has dual audio. I played the PS3 version though, which was a JPN only release so obviously only had the original VAs.

Yea, I absolutely can't stand dubs either, but I cannot understand much Japanese.. So it's just what I've got to put up with for this particular game.

That sucks. Dual audio should've always been the standard...

Symphonia was amazing ZenErik, but yeah not sure how people rank it next to the newer ones. I have a weird knack of never finishing a Tales game, but I've played a lot of Phantasia (SNES), Destiny, and Symphonia, all were really fun games.

list of rpgs ZenErik is playing

 how do you not get super confused as to what you are supposed to be doing by playing that many games?

Also I like how this thread turned into nothing but rpg talk.

Apparently Amazon US and Amazon UK have pulled Silent Hill HD from their site.
