Holy crapola. Most every single game on this list is awesome although there are a few I haven't played. I will damn sure be picking this up though.

OMG, Phantasy Star IV is finally seeing the light of day on a console that's not the original Genesis. I hope that drives up interested for a new installment that's not PSO.

That's nice. But they really show their ignorance when they say that modern gamers only like violent games.

That's why the Dreamcast is chock-full of classics, while the PS2 is loaded with duds.

A lot of these were already on Sonic Mega Collection, but it's still good. My question is, where the hell is the Streets of Rage trilogy?!

Ooh yea! I want Streets of Rage.

Ehh, it doesn't really matter anyways. I'm not buying this because I already have most of these on a real Genesis.
And if I wanted to emulate, I could play them on PC for free. Is anyone here going to buy it?

I agree with jemsic, I already have most of the games I'm interested in, that and the fact I don't own a PS2

I posted my reactions:

Good lineup, but some obvious stars are missing.

Sega's making progress though -- I have to hand them that...

It one thing to promote some games such as ecco and ristar, but really, where are the other great games that could have easily been put on? Does anyone remember Road Rash? Streets of Rage trilogy is another title that is just aching to be put on a collection. Personally, I want Dinosaurs for Hire.

While some good games are indeed missing, the games that are coming on this compilation still make it worth owning to me =)

Road Rash 1-3 on Genesis were all made by Electronic Arts, not Sega.
