Other hardware 101 articles

Post by Ack »

Ok guys, if you haven't noticed, I write a lot of 101 articles for the site. The Watara Supervision and Nintendo iQue Player were both articles I wrote, as well as such 101s as the Vectrex, Channel F, Game.com, and R-Zone articles. I really like looking up info on the more obscure pieces of hardware and handhelds to make it to market in gaming history. On top of that, at this point we've got most of the major hits covered here on Racketboy.com, with more on the way to finish up a few coverage holes. But I was wondering, what of the more obscure or lesser-known releases would you guys like to see 101 articles on?

Gizmondo? PV-1000? Apple Pippin? Gamate? What do you guys want to see get covered?

This may not what you are looking for, but it would be interesting and bring back many memories for people: McDonalds Happy Meal Handheld Games.
If I remember correctly SEGA did a series... again this may be obscure but could be fun.

How about those korean handhelds? Everybody just uses them for emulators but I believe the dingoo had actual games made for it.

I think the next obvious one is the Microvision.

We don't have Colecovision either.
But I do look forward to seeing what other obscure ones are out there...

Colecovision is awesome. If you need any pics I have a boxed one, Ack.

The Gizmondo would be interesting too.

Do we have one for CD-i yet? I can't remember?
