Did the first God of War have a Special edition 2 disc? I know of the Sony download of the soundtrack but that was a download.

Feel free to add the special edition cases or even Special Edition Single Disc Games with added features. Just trying to find all the games that have bonus stuff, even the limited edition Metal Gear Subsistence with three disks. I so want that third "Existence" disc!



Please throw in a brief description of what is on the bonus discs. I am especially curious of any games that are actually spread out on two discs.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica 5th Anniversary - 2nd Bonus disc
The bonus disc is a playable demo of Devil May Cry. It is amazing that Code: Veronica has FOUR releases! The initial release, Greatest Hits, 5th Anniversary and an Essentials Three Game Pack! I still don't know if either The Greatest Hits or the Resident Evil The Essentials set has the 5th Anniversary version of Code Veronica.

It was god of war 2 wasn't sure which one. Maybe Final Fantasy 12 or im wrong... bonus disc dragon quest 8

Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus came in the two-disc case and included a bonus soundtrack CD.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King also came packed with the Final Fantasy XII demo.

Final Fantasy XI: Online (Not For Resale bundle) came in a 2-disc case. The game was on the first disc, while the second contained PlayOnline Viewer & Tetra Master.

As for the generic cases, I can't say for sure, yet all three are familiar - so here are my guesses:
1) Blockbuster
2) Gamestop
3) EB Games (before the Gamestop acquisition)

That's all I got for now.. I'm on a similar quest, CRT, so I'll let you know what I find as well!

Either Hollywood or Game Crazy is okay as the same reference. Only a Half Right Answer on one of them.

Any guesses on the additional Generic Cover?

I added all the Special Editions that have been submitted so far at the bottom of the OP on Page 1. This is starting to be a great reference list for PS2 Finds! Please keep adding any other PS2 Special Editions you can think of.

KOF 98 Ultimate Match comes in the 2disc case you posted

other specials I own:

KOF Maximum Impact (2disc version) has 2 cases bundled together. 2nd disc has series retrospective etc.

Mortal Kombat Deception Premium Edition has 2 cases bundled together. 2nd disc is bonus games including arcade version of MK1.

Madden 2005 Championship Edition has alt packaging, retro Madden games, bonus vids, etc.

Digital Hitz Factory boxset comes with USB sampler and microphone!

^has bonus DVD content about the series. Not sure if it's on a bonus disc, or just added to first disc like they did with the 2005 Championship Edition.

Thought of another one, there's a Tony Hawk American Wasteleand LE that has bonus vids and retro levels.
