no-intro question

Post by aaron »

hi. i've got some goodsets downloaded and i was wondering if there's a way to "convert" these to no-intro sets? i'm really not sure how to use the dats or renamers or anything, and i'm not even sure where to begin. i just know i don't really want to download a brand new set if i've already got the roms on my hd. any help would rule. thanks.

I have no idea what you're talking about, if you could articulate your question a bit more clearly then you may get a solution. :)

I don't understand all these rom standards. I just download the set that looks good to me.

i'm basically just looking for a way to take the existing goodsets that i have and run some sort of batch file to rename them to the no-intro standard so i can seed what i've already downloaded. the data should be the same for at least some of the roms, right?

i forget - are you a mac user? i know richard bannister made a rom organization utility, so it might be able to do what you're wanting to do
