That is pretty strange, actually. I love Fatal Fury... I just happen to love Darkstalkers, KOF and Samurai Shodown more.

Guilty Gear first, it's my most favorite fighting game series.
Then the Vs. series. Me and my friends had tons of crazy fun. This ones more for bigger groups.
Then I chose other, because I very much love JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and Blazblue, and all that other stuff.

Not to say that I don't love KOF or Darkstalkers though. Just, it's hard when I have to list off my favorites. Sometimes, it's what I'm in the mood for, but Guilty Gear stands as my favorite series.

Darkstalkers, VS series and Guilty Gear

I like my 2d fighters crazy and imaginative and over the top

EDIT:While I have nothing against MK, it doesn't fit with the other choices. MK has always been its own unique thing

I agree. I don't really consider MK a fighting game in the same ball park as those others

Are we just considering Blazeblue part of the GG series? It pretty much is anyways.

I honestly like BlazBlue more than Guilty Gear, although that might be because Guilty Gear has been rehashed almost as much as Street Fighter II.

I probably do too... I just consider Blazeblue to be the latest GG game, since part 2 isnt a fighting game. I even sometimes say "lets play some guilty gear" when I'm actually talking about Blazeblue.

Really? I actually like Guilty Gear better. I did like Blazblue better for a little while, but after that little while, Guilty Gear jumped back on top.

I dont see why MK is considered an odd duck here when Samurai Shodown is just as strange comparatively.

KoF for me. I think when I first tried it out and learned to use Evade for the first time I was hooked like a junkie. It just feels so... right. I love other games like GG, but that's too floaty, and SF but that's too stiff for me.
