I don't have any Master System, more of a curiosity question. What kind of CRT TV setup do you use that light gun on?

As far as getting those games, I have seen Sega Master games at Swap Meets and Goodwill every so often.
E-Bay or even Craiglist may be other areas you might try.

Wiki Sega Master Lightgun Games List. You can click games search further for reviews.

If you have not seen this guide yet its a good read. Sorry couldn't be of much help.

When I read your post about a Safari Game, reminded of the tease about unreleashed Dreamcast Naomi game Jambo Safari.

I also wrote an extensive article concerning lightguns and HDs at my signature link.

I have no idea as the type of TV. Its just a Sony brand tube television. Not that old.. maybe 10 - 12 years old.

Thanks for the links. I was just asking if anyone had by chance played some other good light gun games for the master system so I could decide which ones to try next.

Suspect its a non-HD for the lightgun to work, was just curious which model. I have a Sony Wega one of the few 4:3 HD CRTs. Love it, but unfortunately older lightguns won't work.

As far as game reviews, hopefully other members will give ideas for those rare games. That Wiki link gives you further links to individual games which in turn can be searched for review.

I have a master system and a baseball but that is it, and contrary to popular belief it won't work with a sega genesis powerpack and I don't care to pay some of the outrageous prices I saw on ebay and risk those not being the right specs either I guess I could try radioshack I remember reading someone found a universal one for sale that worked.

Maybe hit Swap Meets and Goodwill. Tons of old power transformers there.
Doesn't have to be a specific Sega as long as voltage is the same and a minimal 1 amp.

I think the Master System is 9 or maybe 10 Volt DC, 1 amp with a negative tip. Depending which Master System (1 or 2) you have.

Maybe the label on console or christoph what does your Master system power transformer plug show for voltage/amps output?

Here is a link that may help in figuring out voltages.

There must be some confusion which versions you're talking about.

Model 1 Master System has a 9V DC, 1A, negative barrel tip.
Model 1 Genesis has a 9V DC, 1.2A, negative barrel tip.

The model 1 Genesis brick will power the model 1 SMS just fine. Higher amps from the power pack is ok. As further proof of this, the bottom of the SMS calls for 850 mA (.85A) and says to use plug pack model 3025. The 3025 brick puts out 1A as noted above. Voltage and polarity need to be the same, as well as the plug tip obviously.

I have no idea what the model 2 Master System plug looks like as I do not have one.
Model 2 Genesis uses a 10V DC, .85A, positive smaller yellow tip.

So maybe you were looking at a Gen 2 brick or a SMS 2 system?

Both systems are the first ones, and the genesis powerpack says 9v and it powers up the sms but it shows nothing on the screen, then I ran into a topic at another forum in which someone states if its off by 1 number it can cause the snowballs.

That person fried their SMS by plugging in a NES power brick. Some old 70s consoles and the NES have an AC power brick. Pretty much every electronic device's power brick puts out DC. Giving AC to a DC device is very bad.
