The All-Stars versions are the best, most accessible versions, IMO. They look great, play really well, and allow you to save your progress.

I love this list. It's such an eclectic snapshot of the time. It's also so very EGM and I love how different EGM were from the competitors.
41, not too shabby. I had to exclude quite a few titles I played but didn't beat. I'm hoping I didn't play too fast and loose with my memories on the ones I did select.

Re: How Many of the EGM 100 Have You Beaten?
Sure, here's mine for beaten:
Only 33 for me.
My list is limited in part by lack of access to certain consoles. I've beaten nearly every SNES game on the list. But I didn't get a Genesis until much later, so I have almost no experience with most Genesis games. Same with TurboGrafx. For the Saturn, I knew other people who had them, and I eventually had one myself for a while, so I have knocked out some of those. After that, it was a lot of what genres I like or don't care for and what I had the money for growing up.

Re: How Many of the EGM 100 Have You Beaten?
I still gotta catch up on all of the replies in both threads.
I love these threads. It's like an awesome throw back to how forums use to be!
I definitely did better on this list versus the other thread.

Re: How Many of the EGM 100 Have You Beaten?
...so ummm yeah, I'm going to need a paper bag to wear on my head, I've only finished 9 of these games. Granted I'm aware of all of them, and have played more than 9. I actually don't own most of those consoles or in the case of some I finished different versions. Maybe I get more of these checked off one day.
Re: How Many of the EGM 100 Have You Beaten?
I honestly haven't beaten many of these. I have played a ton of them, even own a lot, but I just haven't actually beaten many.
I am not even going to bother with spoiler tags, because it isn't a long list

Re: How Many of the EGM 100 Have You Beaten?
Here's that little chart but for these 100.
Some more stats:
System representation
1 Game
3D0 (unplayed)
Neo Geo (realistically unplayed on this system!)
Sega Master System (tested out, not really played in depth)
2-7 Games
Game Boy (2)
Turbografx-CD (2)
Sega CD (3)
Turbografx-16 (5)
Nintendo 64 (7, 3 games beaten)
12-13 Games
PS1 (12, 2 games beaten)
Saturn* (12, 1 game beaten)
Genesis (13, 3 games beaten)
19+
NES (19, 3 games beaten )
SNES (22, 13 games beaten)*
* The SNES lost 2 games and the Saturn 1 to simplify the console column. I chose the console for which I owned the game in question.

Pretty sure this is trivial in Excel, too, n'est-ce pas? (But R is superior, if you ever want to join our tiny clique. ;) )
