TSTR: I imagine you have some genuine thoughts and opinions, but rarely do we see them offered in nuance and detail. Perhaps you do your reading, research, and reserve your own judgment before commenting on anything that doesn't align with your own view, but from the content of your posts I'm not always certain that happens. If you would be so inclined, I'd like to know a little more from your posts and in return I will limit my frustration from what I interpret as broad, vague, and disparaging posts that don't drive any dialogue, discussion, or debate along.

These things have a worldly impact on us, and for others. And for me, I don't care to just be a willing participant going along for the ride. That's what I see the purpose protest might serve as, a catalyst to organize and address what's going on.

prfsnl_gmr: I have no issue with calling methods into criticism. However, be constructive and mindful in your posting. There was nothing behind the post that illustrates he was trying to make sense or understand, only offering criticism. Take that as you will, that's what I take issue to most. It feeds into the common narrative I see where protest has no utility, and that it's just simply whining because my fee-fee's got hurt. That is absurd and I simply won't accept such comments.

Surely my remarks are poignant and targeting, and uttered in a moment of frustration. I regret them now. In that sense, I can do better, and I'm sorry TSTR.

I've been pretty informed on the wool that Trump's administration is already pulling over this country's eyes. So far we have (in this week alone):

Trump being selective about who is granted press credential and who's in the room for press conferences.
Trump distracting and obscuring coverage about things going on behind the scenes while he loses his mind over viewership and attendance at his inauguration. Done at a wall of remembrance for the CIA.
Trump greenlighting Keystone XL and DAPL .
Trump executive order for repeal of aspects of the ACA, without a replacement in place.
Trump being in violation of the Emoluments Clause.
Trump saying he will not release his tax returns. Most likely because he's not as rich or is severely in debt.
Trump killing TPP. Remains to be seen the repercussions on the geopolitical and military landscape.
Trump installing a hiring freeze on all non-military governmental employees.
Trump reinstating the Mexico City Policy.
Trump issuing a blackout on the EPA, preventing blogging, social media, or other updates by the organization.
Trump putting a lockdown on the USDA.
Trump meeting with William Pryor for SCOTUS.
Trumps varied questionable picks for cabinet positions. Some okay, some fine. Lots questionable or downright wrong for the job. Pruitt, DeVos, Tillerson, Sessions, and Perry for example.
