Cool interview below, giving the details of Sega turning down a pitch for a price aggressive monochromatic handheld to compete with the Gameboy. Stefano Arnhold (see link below) of the Sega south America distributor, TecToy, had this all mapped out with engineering, a manufacturer in Taiwan, & Tiger distributing in the US.
