Ok thanks. Don't forget the Left Coast!

Decent game this; I've never played beyond the first couple of stages before now. Reminds me a little bit of Sengoku Ace or other Taito games like Gekirindan.

TSTR - 341,780 - Stage 3 - Vaulge (Green Ship)
This game is funky. Not like Dangun Feveron funky, but funky in its own way. Got some nitpicks, though. Feel underpowered even at max strength. Not a fan of how the life system works, although it seems very generous with extends. Would rather just blow up and respawn. The presentation is pretty sweet anyhow. Digging the music and all the colors.

Dammit, I wanted a million! Anyway, one of the main tricks for survival/scoring seems to be timing the 'BIG' special to when you need it. Thing is, I'm not sure you can time it, as such (apart from letting it drift around on-screen for a while before collecting it). There are a couple of places where it always seems to appear (e.g., before the Stage 2 boss) and some places where it sometimes appears, but you'd wish it appeared more often (e.g., before the Stage 3 boss). Then there are times when it keeps showing up when you don't need it; I think I've had it appear several times on Stage 1 alone. In this run, I'm not sure I saw it at all on Stages 5 or 6. It's a bit of a mystery.

ExedExes - 429,840 - Stage 3 (Boss) - Storm Breaker (Blue)
Decidedly old school but there's some manic notes going on in this too. Bridges a gap, I say. Also some Genkirindan inspiration.
I just don't like losing life getting into position for Stage 3's boss. It comes from the top and then it has two long arms on either side. I guess you have to be in a bottom corner after you see "WARNING!"
This game seems to have some activity in the first few days, so let's get a run down.

Phalcyon (purple) is probably the best ship because you can just keep shotgun-blasting the screen every half second, getting enemies you normally wouldn't with a weak normal spread shot.
Also, FYI you can use the options as bulletproof shields and you can change their position with the 'bomb' button.
