I've never 1CC'd Deathsmiles either - even if I skip the bonus stage.

But I have 1CC'd Deathsmiles IIX.

Hold on... I have actually 1CC'd a game. Lol... Monkey king for Wii... So, yea, still no real 1CC's

It certainly counts in my mind.

Thing about that game, it's almost impossible for me to complete without 1CC'ing. You're so incredibly crippled after dying once it's ridiculous. Might as well restart the game.

I can almost 1CC DeathSmiles. Maybe someday.

I'll try, but I haven't played this game in over a year.

I know there is a health item that fills a full bar of health... that you get from a car. No idea what the name of the stage is, or if the order of the stages changes this.

The one that really helps is the big cake you get from Jitterbug. Just don't bomb while fighting him, and you'll have all of your health back before facing the last boss. You can die several times against Jitterbug and still go in to the final showdown with full health.

right the car one is in the swamp where you fight the vitch, Sakura.

But the other one, Jitterbug, yeah no I remember. I usually die before then.

That's been my issue as well... I go for points and end up screwing myself. But man, when you get a couple good chains going and that beautiful orange glow starts popping up with all the bonus points... I can't resist going for the points!

In addition to getting the 2 cakes, there's a couple other very crucial things to remember if you're attempting the 1cc in Deathsmiles.

One, play the volcano stage at level 3 with your counter at 1000. Power up right at the beginning, and shoot as many rocks as you can. You should get the first point-based extend by the end of the level.

Two, always use Rosa.

Volcano for sure. But Casper's my favorite. I'll use Rosa and Windia as well though, depending on mood.

It's Rosa or nothing for me... And now I'm jonesing for some deathsmiles runs. Wanted to get a couple in last night but the wife and kids took control of the TV and never let go!
