Same as you optimistic, but I' wouldn't mind giving it a shot (adds to wish list). Guilty Gear Xrd had some doubts but turn out good from what I hear. In reference to some changes I guess it's nice to have a updated style and if all else fails they can try a classic formula later?
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

There are Dreamcast games with better graphics, and we all know SNK's track record with 3D games.

Looks like the worst thing to happen to KOF since Eolith. I know everyone who is somehow blindly optimistic is going "It's too early to judge!" but they wouldn't have shown this off if they weren't proud of it.

They would have been better off just showing a logo. A trailer is supposed to build hype, not kill it immediately. Until they do something absolutely amazing to reverse my thoughts, KOF died with KOFXIII. I'd rather the series go out with a bang than a whimper.

Is it strange that all this KoF XIV buzz (mostly negative btw) is making me wanna play MI2/2006...?

Game's always been guilty pleasure for me

Looks OKAY from the trailer. I'll wait till I see some gameplay.

Like any KoF, it really can go either direction. If there's ever been a series that wavered between the best of its genre or an absolute stinker more than KoF, then I am not aware of it.

That said...I'm going to play it. I always do.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
