The outfits and body models look fine (and better than SFIV), but I don't like the faces. They are too young (for some characters) and too generic (all of them). You'd think they would try to give them a little more apparent personality or something.

Well, I was afraid this was going to be a bad looking game with good gameplay and thus no one would play it.

"Pressing light punch repeatily will give you a unique auto combo similar to Persona 4 Arena. It will also automatically combo into super if you have meter."

But it turns out its going to be a bad looking game with bad gameplay, so nothing lost! Huzzah!

I dunno. The gameplay video attached to that page looked pretty good, actually. I still have a few complaints about the graphics, but they have time to deal with that. I'm optimistic.

So, Superbunnyhop has a fantastic video looking at the possible reason why SNK is pivoting away from pachinko and back to video games. I recommend giving it a look if you're curious why SNK suddenly seems to be paying so much attention to the games market again.

Demo is up on PSN (US link): https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/ ... EDEMOTHEME

Comes with a free theme.

I played a match with a guy at work on break earlier and the gameplay feels very late 90s 2D KoF once you get past the 3D character models flowing from move to move (I had a similar experience the first time I played SFIV). I can't wait until I get home tonight so I can break out the arcade stick and give it a go on a lagless display.

Because if there's one thing DOA didn't have enough of it's anatomically impossible women.
